Gary has a very large following that started back in Dallas TX 10 years ago. Many of the top racers in the city went to Gary. He had over 1,000 clients at that time. He has been in Raleigh just over 2 years and has built a strong base of clients already. Everywhere he goes the bikes will follow! Congratulations Gary on your new Raleigh bike shop venture.

Gears not shifting smoothly? Gary will not only get them working properly for you, he will show what was not-quiet-right, and teach you how to keep them shifting better.

I walked in with an older chainring that I thought was worn and I wanted to replace it. Gary told me it was fine, and that he didn't need to sell me a new chainring. He showed me what a worn chainring really looks like. He gave me a chainring bolt (one of mine was bad), and put it all back together for me. Total charge: $0. I ordered a bottom bracket from him and he hardly charged me anything in labor to install it. Then he spent a lot of time with me giving me advice and tips, as he adjusted brakes, gears, cranks, etc. Total charge for all that: $0. His prices on parts, tubes, degreaser, lubes, etc. are equal to or lower than the other shops where people won't even try to help you learn how to do it yourself; they just want to charge you an arm and a leg for five minutes of their labor. I would certainly recommend this shop to any cyclist. Gary is a very skilled mechanic, has fair prices, and will give you good advice.

My tri team (Kinetic Fitness Studio - aka - Rondeau's Army )heard about Gary from a lone rider while out on one of our loonnng rides. It seems that every time something breaks, antoher one of my buddies goes to see Gary, and each time they are thrilled. So, on behalf of my training buddies, and myself, you cannot go wrong with Gary. We all ride expensive carbon bikes (fuji, kestrel, orbea) and you don't want an 18 year old wrench turner mangling your sexy speed machine.

Well la-ti-da Michael S, we can't all ride expensive carbon bikes! Just kidding, I actually heard of Gary through Michael and a few of our other "Army" friends. I was involved in a pretty bad wreck in early May on my stinking expensive carbon bike a week before the White Lake Half Ironman. I walked into Gary's shop for the first time with a mangled bike and body. Unfortunately Gary found a bad crack in the frame that we concluded was not fixable. He has since worked with me through multiple headaches trying to get a new bike to ride. He has provided education, advice, therapy, goods and services all at more than reasonable prices. Long story short, I picked up a full tri bike that Gary has tuned up and am about to buy a road frame to build up my wrecked bike. Guess who is going to build up the bike from my box of parts in the back room. You guessed it, Gary. Thanks for all your work Gary!
